Business Social Programme
We know how important it is for our Business English clients to have a social programme that is just for them. Our social programme provides the perfect balance of improving interactions in less formal business environments as well as providing networking opportunities with company visits and simulated business meetings. Clients will find they will use their new-found skills in a variety of different situations and contexts.
Sample Social Programme
Monday 17.00 – 18.00
Welcome drink: Join our Principal and your fellow clients in a traditional English pub.
Cost – FREE
Tuesday 18.30 – 20.30
Dinner at a favourite restaurant: Enjoy a lovely meal in the company of one of your teachers and fellow clients. This is a great evening out and a good chance to practice your English in a more relaxed setting.

Wednesday 15.15 – 16.45
Simulated business meeting: A role-play is the perfect situation to test your development in using English in a Business Situation. Pick the role closest to your position, prepare in your classes and get ready. Once the class is over, your teacher will give you detailed feedback on your performance.

Thursday 09.00 – 12.30
Visit to the Morgan factory: We visit one of the few truly British car factories in the country. You will see car making in process by hand instead of machines (Fortnightly visits)
Cost – £15 per person for entrance (prices correct as of January 2017)
Thursday 18.00 – 20.00
Skittles: A fun traditional English pub game – a great way to relax and unwind after a busy day of learning.
Cost – clients buy their own drinks
Friday 10.30 – 11.00
Goodbye drinks: Join your colleagues and teachers to celebrate finishing your Business English course, enjoy a drink and some nibbles
Costs – FREE
Saturday 09.00 – 18.00
Full day excursion: Join one of our teachers and other students for a day trip to one of England’s finest cities, where you can see the sights.
Travel and teacher costs are included for Business Centre Students, however, they must pay their entrance into attractions please see our Social Programme page for destinations and approximate costs for entrance.
